So, Carter and I took Otto out today to a training area. Couldn't be happier how he did. He worked hard. Listened. Obeyed. It was so satisfying. Carter worked him. He walked ahead of me. It was awesome!!! - Jason from Sioux Falls, SD
Koda has the kennel thing nailed. She has great demeanor and character already. The neighbors are all jealous. - Marcus from Kansas.
Hey, this is Josh up in Bismarck just letting you know this pup is just neat. We can tell already he is really smart and he learns quick. Already got him sitting, staying and fetching. Anyway, thank you very much for our new family member. - Josh from Bismarck, North Dakota
Bea and Dot ran their NA test today. Dot got a perfect score (112). Bea got dinged on the water portion and ended up with a 101 prize 2. Had I been a better handler in the moment, she probably would have scored perfect as well. Both did great in the field and track. I'm really happy with how they did. The judges gave them both a lot of praise. Just thought you'd like to know. - Eric from Iowa
We had a good trip to Oklahoma and Kansas. It was really warm and dry, which made things hard. Found 6 to 7 covey per day in Oklahoma and limited on pheasants two days in Kansas. The girls did great for their first time out west. - Eric from Iowa
Just wanted to give you some follow up. The dogs turned 2 in October. They are great dogs. Super athletic, hunt all day. Great disposition. Both are about 45 lbs which is perfect for me. I really can't find anything wrong with them. - Eric from Iowa
Raven - 8 months is doing good. We shot birds over her and she has a great nose and marks birds well. Lance N Labs trained Raven and calls often and wants to know how she is doing. I think he liked her. - Dan from Sioux Falls
Emmy had several points over the weekend. Pointed two roosters. Tim Shot. She pointed several hens. Had a full retrieve yesterday dropping rooster at my feet. She really did well. - Randy from Sioux Falls
I haven't had a chance to get Murphy out on any pheasants yet but I got her on some quail in Nebraska and she did great. She is from Zoe and King. - Gregg from Nebraska
Hey Mark, the pup is good. I named him Knox and had him retrieving ducks last weekend. He's been out about a dozen times for training during September and successfully locked on birds about half the time. He's getting better as he grows more into his body. Looking to get him out pheasant hunting here in the next 2 weeks after the opening weekend warriors pack out. Overall doing good! Weighing about 45 lbs right now. Listens well and stays close. Working on retrieving to hand, but that is coming along with time as well! I'll give you an update once we get him on some roosters here shortly. - Blake from Minnesota
I went out to shoot more around Knox and it didn't phase him so we started hunting. He then locked on point hard for a good 30 seconds. I came in and flushed the bird and shot - knocked the bird down and he started running him down and retrieved it. He didn't want to bring it back right away, but he was sure proud of it! For 7 months, I couldn't be happier. He locked up on 7 hens and then locked up on another rooster, but I missed. Super impressed. First time out officially and he was a dang pointing fool! - Blake from Minnesota
Can't believe how she has grown in just a year. She amazes us every day. Always has loved fetching either in the water or out. She has been easy to train with a little work and consistency. She has always seemed to learn every new task. From the first day we got her until now, she is always progressing and always eager to learn. She hunted with me a few times last year and my 7 year old female. This last weekend on pheasant resident only she shined! She started getting her points and making her retrieves on dead and wounded birds. She amazed me all weekend. I am VERY happy with everything. Would highly recommend your dogs. We can't thank you enough for a great family dog as well as a remarkable hunting dog. Am looking forward to the years to come. - Jim from South Dakota
Hi Mark, I just wanted you to know that our puppy pointed and retrieved her first rooster today! She's been pointing and doing very well hunting for me since our opener! Today was the first day that every thing worked together. She found it, I shot it and she made a good retrieve! For 6 months old she is doing GREAT!! - Paul from Minnesota
Hi Mark, just wanted to give you an update on nine-week old Britta. She is doing amazingly well. Coming to command already. In fact, we went for a short walk behind the house today and she made a beautiful point on a strutting male grouse! - Bill from Michigan
Wren had a good couple hours this evening. Got one grouse and one pheasant. The dogs were in tall cattails so didn't see either bird fall. Wren found both of them. The grouse was hidden in tall grass with a broken wing. After a few second point, the grouse jumped and she was all over it. That flipped the switch and she hunted as hard as i've seen a four month old pup hunt for the next 2 hours. She's doing great. Hope all is well with you guys. - Todd from North Dakota
Doing amazing. They are having a great time and the hunters really enjoy watching them work. Couldn't be happier with them. - Charlie from South Dakota
Mark, she is doing GREAT! She is one of the best dogs ever ... she runs with me, she loves the girls, we take her to all our weekend sports and she behaves and loves it. I am truly thankful for you bringing Francis to us. - Kevin from Maryland
Just wanted to tell u that the little girl I picked up this spring is absolutely phenomenal in every way. She did more before she was 4 months old than my 15 year old has ever done. I can't imagine a better dog. Just incredible and she is a lover. She is by my side every minute of the day and we have a blast. I could surely train her to do anything in a heartbeat and she is always happy. Thank u!
